Edna Lassetter

Edna Lassetter, 84, of Waco, died Sunday, May 18, 2014 in a local nursing home. Private graveside services were held Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Oakwood Cemetery.

Edna was born to Alexander Hamilton West and Carrie Mae Moore West near Mart the 8th of August 1929. She was educated in Waco Public Schools and graduated from Waco High School in 1947. Edna was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for several years and finished her working career at Texas Power and Light Company. She was an avid bridge player and frequently played in duplicate groups. She first married Pat Baugh and then was married to Albert James Lassetter, both of whom predeceased her.

She was also predeceased by her parents; and her sister, Annie Mae West.

Edna is survived by her brother, Leslie Allen West of Waco; sister, Barbara McMahan of Waco; stepsons, Larry Lassetter and Mark Lassetter; nephews, Mike, David and Matt McMahan; and several other nieces and nephews.
