Earl Richardson
October 24,1935 – May 5, 2013

Earl Richardson, 77, went to be his Lord on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Blackford officiating. Visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at the funeral home.

Earl was born and raised in Mart, where he graduated high school in 1954. He went on to earn a Master’s degree in Education and Administration from North Texas and TCU. He spent most of his life helping students as a teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent at Palmer ISD. He then worked as a jailer at Limestone County Sheriff's Department until retiring again. He enjoyed spending time with his family above all else.

He also enjoyed working in the yard, watching old westerns, cooking for everyone, and feeding the birds.

Earl leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Lisa M. Richardson; his sons, David Richardson of Carrolton, Cory Richardson and wife Betty of Forsan, Kevin Richardson of Cypress; his daughters, Jessica Richardson of Waxahachie, Kristi Burger and husband John of Waco; Brothers Charles Richardson of Donie, and Melvin Richardson of Brazoria; sister, Barbara Bray and husband Robert of Waco; grandsons, Bryce, Ty, Kobe, Jace, Seth, Gage and Trey; in –laws, Don and Pat Stinnett of Woodway; and many nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his father, William Pace Richardson; mother, Flora Rivers; brother, Walter Richardson; and sisters, Katherine Jarad, Laura Stump, and Betty Richardson.

you never would have died, A heart of gold stopped beating, two twinkling eyes closed to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove, he only takes the best.

We love and miss you.
