Dustin had a fulfilling forty-five years of life starting on a Wednesday the twelfth of September in 1979 at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco, Texas. Although he became a parent at a young age, Dustin always said how his daughter, MaKayla, being born saved his life by helping him grow up and leave his troubled youth behind. Dustin worked hard at being a single father, getting a job that he held for twenty-five years. He was proud to be working as a Revenue Security Representative for Oncor Electric Delivery, catching people who steal electricity. While his job was important to him, family was always his first priority. The birth of his son, Anthony, his daughter, Jordana, and later his granddaughter, Jayda, just added more joy to his life. His life finally became complete when he met and quickly married the love of his life, Christina, on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Not only did his family grow with the addition of his wife, he happily and lovingly welcomed his new step-daughter, Lorraine, as one of his own children. Many happy memories were formed during the seventeen months and eight days of their marriage, including purchasing a new home and making plans for a blissful future. Even during his extended struggle of nine weeks and three days that eventually that took his life, he had his wife by his side every minute of every day. Through it all, Dustin stayed the usual happy, funny, caring, strong, loving man that he always was. When Dustin passed into the arms of the Lord, he was surrounded by family and friends who all loved him very much.

Dustin Roliard is survived by his loving wife Christina and her daughter Lorraine Roliard; three children, MaKayla, Anthony, and Jordana Roliard; parents, Denise and Bruce Roliard; brother and sister-in-law, Troy and Jen Roliard; granddaughter, Jayda Williams; parents-in-law who called him “son”, Charles and Gwen Waddle; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly and forever.

The entire family would also like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Em Otte (Christina’s sister) for all of the medical advocating that she and Dustin’s mother-in-law did throughout his entire illness.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a fund set up for his children at the First National Bank of McGregor. Please reference Christina Juhl.
