Dotty Lou Weaver, aged 78 from Hewitt, passed away on July 22, 2024, in the comforting presence of her beloved children. Known for her tireless dedication as a hairstylist for over six decades, she truly was a trailblazer in her field, possessing an unparalleled level of skill and artistry long before the conveniences of modern technology. Dotty had a profound love for all creatures great and small, particularly dogs, birds, turtles, and dolphins, finding solace and joy in the company of nature's diverse beings.
Her affinity for the natural world extended to her enjoyment of plants, the serene shores of beaches, and the majestic heights of mountains. With a fiery passion for football, she could often be found fervently cheering on the Denver Broncos, her devotion to the team unwavering through the highs and lows of each season.
Dotty was a devout Christian and her eternity is secure in Heaven with her savior. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Shane Weaver and wife, Amy, Kristen Twyman, Troy Weaver and wife Sharon; grandchildren, Cory Weaver and wife Kerri, Kayla Weaver, Shelbi Weaver, Grady Twyman, Lane Twyman, Kimber Weaver, and Remi Weaver.
As friends and family grapple with the weight of this loss, the Weaver family expresses their deepest gratitude to Kelly Moody and Stacy Herrin for the abundant love and willingness to help when needed.
