Dorothy Williams

Dorothy Holstead Williams, 94, of Woodway, passed away Monday, December 16, 2013, at her residence. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2013, at Gholson Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, 8220 Woodway Dr.

Dorothy was born on February 16, 1919 to Cap and Gladys Holstead in Waco, Texas. She was a member of the Episcopal Church. Dorothy and her husband, John, owned Lakeline records in Waco during the 60s and 70s.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband John E. Williams, and daughter Barbra Sorley. She is survived by son Bill Williams and grandchildren John Sorley, Bill Sorley, Mike Sorley, Jo T. Bruno, and Jill Neuhaus.
