Dorothy Nowakowski

Dorothy Rae Nowakowski, age 86 of Waco, passed away at a local hospital Thursday November 11, 2010. Funeral services will be 1PM Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Jim Grey officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm, Friday November 12, 2010 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Dorothy was born February 7, 1924 in Waco, Texas to Alva and Annie Mae Shepard. Dorothy spent her life in loving service to her husband, sons, and family. She was involved in PTA, the Scouts, Little League, and her church, FBC Woodway.

Dorothy Rae Nowakowski was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew J. Nowakowski.

Those left to cherish her loving memory are: her sons, Richard T. Nowakowski of Rockwall and his wife Debbie, Jeff Nowakowski of Dallas; her grandchildren Jennifer Faletto and family, and Jay Nowakowski and family; great-grandchildren Lizzie and Allie Faletto, Kayla and Brooke Nowakowski; her sisters Wanda Perrill of Waco, Peggy Fagner of Waco, and Norma Rowland of College Station; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
