Dorothy Goodwin

Biography

Dorothy was born on January 12, 1930 in Temple, Texas to William Henry and Georgia Alta Binns. She married to Everet Ivy Goodwin on January 11, 1947. Dorothy was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother her entire life. A virtuous woman, which she excelled in as her life long career. She was patterned after her example, Jesus Christ. Dorothy was a member of God’s House Ministries where all will miss her and always remember her testimony of loving the Lord and that she was going all the way. On September 19, 2009 she went to meet the Lord with the words in heart that she knew her redeemer lives.
She is survived by her six children, Thomas Everett Goodwin and wife Bonnie of Troy; William Edward Goodwin and wife Karen of Moody; Pamela Hughes and husband Jerry of Moody; Bubba Goodwin and wife Lisa of Moody; Ronnie Goodwin of Moody; and Melissa Pruett and husband Darren of Moody. As well as twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great, great grandson; and sister, Mary Ann Barber of Bowie, TX; and brother, Harold Lloyd Binns of Salado, TX.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Everet Ivy Goodwin; sister, Helen Carringer; granddaughters, Jennifer Lynn Hughes and Belinda Randolph; and great-grand daughter, Ashley Rebecca Goodwin.
