Don Worthan, 71, of Waco, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016. A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday at 2 p.m., with a visitation one hour prior to the service, on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.
Don was a member of the Karem Shrine Motor Patrol and the Worthy Patron of McLennan Chapter #639, O.E.S.
Don is survived by his wife, Wera Worthan of Waco; his daughter, DeDe Webb of Round Rock; his son, Joe Don Worthan and wife, Candy, of Grapevine, his step daughter; Salley Knox-Miller and husband Dan of Gilmer, step son; John Knox and wife Jennifer of Covington, his brother, James Worthan and wife, Sandra, of Mineral Wells; eight grandchildren, Jessica Webb, Tucker Worthan, Addison Worthan, Marshall Knox, David James Knox, Elizabeth Knox, Malcolm Knox, Alice Knox; and the mother of Don's children, Judy Knox, Waco; and special friend, Mrs. Bobbie Knight of Beaumont.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriner's Burn Hospital in Galveston and the Scottish Cripple Hospital in Dallas.
