Don Vandiver

Kermit Don Vandiver age 70, of Moody passed away Sunday December 4, 2011 at his residence. Memorial Services will be 2PM Wednesday December 7, 2011 at Gatesville Funeral Home Chapel.

Don was born on June 20, 1941 in Coryell City to High Dave and Grace Vandiver. Don graduated from Oglesby High School in 1959. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for Gilmore and Davis Furniture store for many years later working at Moody Furniture. He spent the remainder of his life caring for other people. From helping cook meals to fixing anything that needed it. Don could be counted on to there anytime you needed him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Allen and Glen and a sister Ann.

Don is survived by his two brothers Harold and Doug Vandiver and a sister Virginia Scott.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Huts for Muts dog rescue in Hamilton, Texas.
