Dianne Woods

Dianne Audrey Woods, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on August 27 2024, at the age of 77. Born on March 24, 1947, in Rochester, New York, Dianne lived a life marked by hard work, kindness, and unwavering support for her family and friends.

Dianne's educational journey began with her education in Rochester. After high school, she was a lifelong learner, she remained open to growth, both personally and professionally.

Throughout her career, Dianne exemplified dedication and resilience, transitioning from Rochester Germicide to her role at Curves and then to her career in accounting, she worked hard to advance her skills and professional standing.

Her commitment to her jobs was matched only by her humility; Dianne never sought the spotlight but preferred to uplift those around her. Her work at Curves was notable, as she inspired women to lead healthier lives while fostering a supportive community.

Dianne was known for always putting others before herself, embodying the spirit of generosity. Friends and family alike found her dependable for emotional support. Many remember her warmth, and it was not uncommon for Dianne to lend a listening ear or offer a helping hand whenever needed.

Dianne leaves behind her cherished family, including her son, David Warren Smith, and daughter, Maureen Hough. She was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren Trey Byers, Seth Rian Smith, Evin Tanner Smith, Joey Hough, Jason Hough, and Nikki Hough. The bond she shared with her family was her cornerstone. Dianne is also survived by her sister and best friend, Donna Doskocil, and numerous friends who she touched with her loving and supportive nature.
