Dennis Berry

Dennis Berry passed away at his home in Waco, Texas, on August 26, 2024, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 22, 1950, in Salem, Illinois.

Dennis attended Graham High School and continued his education at the Univeristy of Texas in Arlington, Texas. His lifelong career as an engineer at Exyte showcased his commitment to excellence and innovation. Dennis was a man who took great pride in his work.

Outside of work, Dennis had a variety of interests that enriched his life. Dennis had a stubbornness about him, he stood firm in his beliefs. Dennis also had an athletic side to him, he enjoyed running and playing tennis. He found joy in solving Sudoku puzzles and had a knack for building things. This passion led him to construct projects for his children and family. Laughter was a hallmark of his personality, and he often filled the room with warmth and positivity.

Dennis leaves behind his devoted wife, Teresa Berry; his cherished daughters, Maxine and Joyce Berry; and his beloved grandsons, Marcus and Octavius, Jr.

He is also survived by his siblings, David, Linda, and Richard Berry. He was preceded in death by his brother, Victor Berry.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Dennis's life will be on September 7, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.
