Denise "Maggie" Kemp

Denise ‘Maggie’ Kemp (67) of Hewitt passed away on 25 April 2013 after a brief illness. A celebration of her life is scheduled 2 p.m. Saturday the 4th of May at the Hewitt VFW Post.

Denise was an active member and officer of VFW Post 6008 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed taking care of her veterans. It was her wishes that no viewing or services be conducted. Denise will return to San Diego California where her ashes will be laid to rest in Mission Bay.

Denise was preceded in death by her parents Genevieve and Nicholas Milo of San Diego and sister Judy Milo Burton of Hewitt.

She is survived by husband Dr. Michael Kemp, Son Sean Santos and Daughter-in-Law Julie, Grandchildren Amber and Taylor Santos of Albuquerque, NM. Son, Tyler Martin and Daughter-in-Law Morgan and Grandson Brody Ryan Martin of San Diego, CA. Stepdaughter, Danika L.M. Kemp of Austin, TX. Niece, Tracy O’Brien of, Hewitt TX and Niece, Shari Cole of Round Rock, TX. And her very close and dear friend, Connie Boddy of Hewitt, TX.
