David Ray Schroeder

David Schroeder went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 1, 2019. He was 68 years old.  To celebrate his life, a memorial will be held at 5:00 pm Friday, December 6th with a visitation to follow at the Crestview Church of Christ, 7129 Delhi Rd, Waco, TX 76712.

David was born on March 10, 1951, in West, Texas, the son of the late Raymond Gus Schroeder and Mother, Tracie Mary Kocian.

He retired from L3 5 years ago after 23 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Schroeder; Daughter, Mary Lewis and husband Mark, Son, John Schroeder, Daughter, Kathleen Schroeder, Brothers, John Schroeder and wife Susan, Ray Schroeder and wife Ruth, 3 stepdaughters, Nichole Luna, Rebekah Seward, Deborah McKenzie along with 10 grandchildren who were greatly loved; Gabriel Lewis, Dannell Lewis, Bailey Lewis, Colton Lewis, Cannon Schroeder, James McClure, Liza McClure, Savannah Seward, Gabriel McKenzie, and Scarlet McKenzie.

David made a big impact wherever he was. He was always there for his family and served at his church, Crestview Church of Christ. He never met a stranger. He will be missed greatly.
