Our beloved husband, father, son, brother, friend, coach and steadfast man of God, David Shaw Parker, was taken from this earth in the beautiful mountains of Beaver Creek, Colorado straight to heaven on Feb. 28, 2011. He was skiing with his bride of 25 years, DeLynn, son, Bo, and many friends from Trinity Christian Academy when he suffered Sudden Cardiac Arrest while on the slopes. We find great comfort in knowing that he skied straight into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with no earthly suffering.
Funeral Services will be 2PM Saturday March 5, 2011 at Parkway Hills Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, with Pastor Sam Dennis officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Friday March 4, 2011 at the church. A private family interment will take place at Old Celina Cemetery, Celina, Texas.
