David was born October 7, 1950 in Granbury, Texas.  The family moved to Woodway, Texas in 1966 where he attended Midway Schools.  He was a long time rodeo participant.   For twenty one years, he worked at Texas A&M Research Center in the cattle department.  After working at A&M, he worked at a few different jobs, but his great love for horses gave him his main job, breaking and training horses.

David’s greatest love was for his family and teaching his grandchildren to learn to ride horses and to hunt and fish.  He never met a stranger and he would do anything he could to help someone.

He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him and loved him.

The family would like to thank everyone at Interim Hospice and an extra special thank you to Sarah Dorst, RN.  They also want to give a big thank you to Westview Manor where he was given great care by all the staff and he had a great affection for everyone who took care of him.

We know he is in Heaven watching over all of us.
