Darrell E. Roberts II

Darrell E. Roberts, II went into the presence of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Tuesday, September 25th 2018. He was born on January 16th in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Patricia Ann Roberts and Darrell E. Roberts.

Darrell is survived by his wife of 13 years, Iselda Roberts, his daughter Adlesi MariAnn Roberts, his father Darrell E. Roberts and sister Kristi Bass; his in-laws Guadalupe and Imelda Mendoza; his sister-in-law Imelda and Brent Ottmers; his brother-in-law Lupe and Sandy Mendoza and family; his nephew Rico and Amy Martinez and family; and his nephew Gatlin Hux.

Darrell is preceded in death by his mother Patricia Ann Roberts, his grandmother Bertha Phillips, his uncle Harvel Phillips, and his uncle William Buddy Phillips.

Darrell was a loving husband and devoted father who loved the Lord with all of his heart and soul. Darrell had a great passion to learn which led to him acquiring multiple degrees. He was grateful for the late Dr. Kent Peaslee who mentored him through his education at Missouri S&T, Dick Jaffre who mentored him throughout his career at Chaparral Steel, Bob Melendi who mentored him through his career at Commercial Metals and for Emmanuel Bodner who encouraged and guided him throughout the terms he served as part of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industry for the Gulf Coast Chapter.

The Roberts Family are faithful members of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church, where flowers may be sent, 1300 Columbus Avenue, Waco, TX 76701 or in lieu of flowers a donation may be made in his memory to: Missouri University of Science & Technology-Metallurgical Engineering Dept., SMU Fund Cox School of Business or a donation may be mailed to William A.
