Danny Ray McCutchen, 71, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017, at his home in Monroe, Washington, due to a lengthy battle with an auto-immune disease. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 25, at Flint Creek Cemetery near Gatesville, Texas. His cousin, Pastor Jim Brazzil will officiate.
Danny was born August 12, 1945 in Gatesville, Texas to J. B. and Sarah Nell (Brazzil) McCutchen. Central Texas was home most of his life. He attended Waco schools and graduated Midway High School in 1963.
Although living in Washington state, being a "Texan", he was making plans to return to his family roots in the Central Texas area. He loved to enjoy the outdoors life, and was awed by God's creations of land and wildlife. He was a loving, kind person, who did not tolerate injustice.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Keith McCutchen; and grandson, Brendan Luedeker.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 34 years, Diane (Grimes) McCutchen; brother, Don G. McCutchen and wife, Debbie; sister, Linda Janell Spivey and husband, Billy; his two daughters, Lauri Ann Luedeker and husband, Buddy, and Teri Lynn McGuill and husband, David; grandchildren, Jeremy and Aaron Luedeker, and Charles McGuill; great-grandson, Connor Luedeker; and other family and friends.
