Dana Monroe Wolf, 60, of Eddy, passed away early Saturday morning, December 28, 2013. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2014 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway Dr. Interment will follow at Blevins cemetery in Falls County. Visitation with the family will be 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Born February 7, 1953 in Waco, Dana was the son of the late Louie Albert Wolf and Bessie Irene Wolf. Dana grew up in Valley Mills and attended Valley Mills ISD through the ninth grade. In 1968, the Wolf family moved to Eddy where Dana met his future wife Jackie, and graduated from Bruceville-Eddy High School in 1971. Over the course of 40 years, Dana was employed by Texas Power & Light-Dallas Construction, Texas Utilities, TXU Electric, and Oncor until his retirement in March 2013. Dana enjoyed hunting, riding horses, playing dominos, working on the farm, but mostly, spending time with his family and friends. Dana is best remembered for his kind heart, honesty, and integrity.

Dana is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Jackie Nobles Wolf; son, Landon Albert Wolf and wife, Jeanne Robinson Wolf; grandchild, Avery Louise Wolf all of Austin; daughter Bethaney Ann Wolf and her boyfriend Lucas Pruitt of Robinson; sister, Sandra Scarborough of Riesel; brother, Dwaine Wolf and wife, Peggy, of Troy; sister, Nelda Wolf of McKinney; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews who all adored him.

Dana was a true Texas family man who loved his friends and animals, especially his sidekick, Sally Mae.
