Cristina Valdez

Cristina Valdez, 53, of Waco, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at a local hospital after a long battle with cancer.

Cristina loved people, especially children, and cared for all she met. She enjoyed loving on and going the extra mile for all children, treating them as her own grandchildren. Cristina worked as a caregiver for Texas Home Health, this job enabled her to use her gifts of love and care for others daily. She loved to help others. Cristina was a joy to be around because she was always happy.

She will be greatly missed by many, but especially by her children, Kristi Guia, Emililo Elias, Jr., and Eron Elias; her sisters, Mary Villarreal, Melinda Villarreal, Janie Valdez, and Gloria Luera, and her 7 grandchildren.
