Cody Jones

Cody William Jones, 25, of Lacy Lakeview, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery to follow. A visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Cody was born in Waco, Texas and attended La Vega ISD. He recently worked as a plumbing apprentice with Rae Broker, and had also worked with Jacobs Cathy as an A/C technician. Cody loved to play pool, and was a very gifted player. He was also an avid skateboarder. But mostly, Cody loved spending time with his friends and family. He treasured his time with his nieces and nephews.

Cody was always the life of the party, if you were having a bad day, he could always make it better. He had the ability to always make others smile and be the much-needed comic relief. Cody’s smile and laugh will be greatly missed by all who held him dear and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are Janice Jones and Kenneth Hawthorne, Gary Jones, Jennifer Jones and Jorge Sanchez, Leann Jones, Gary (Bubba) Jones Jr., John Watson Jr., Candice and Mike Trainer, Nathan Chambers, Dominic Sanchez, Victor Sanchez, Abigail Jones, and numerous family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Aric Kinsey, Eric Ramirez, Jorge Sanchez, Ricky Sanchez, John Watson Jr., Mike Trainor, Josh Gonzales, Chris De La Cruz, Jon Hetzel, Vance Machen, Jeff Williams, and Eric Simms.

I treasure the time I have had on this earth with this wonderful, precious gift from God and until I see my baby again, fly high my angel and watch over us my sweet boy.
