Cindy Kay (Burton) Kifer

Cindy Kay Burton Kifer, 59, of McGregor, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021, after a courageous battle with a long illness. The family will have a private service at a later date.

Cindy was born, September 5th, 1961 to Scott Allen and Patricia Lavone Burton in Killeen, Texas while her father was stationed at Fort Hood.  She graduated from Temple College as a Surgical Tech, and worked several hospitals in the Central Texas area for 21 years.  Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren. One of the family’s fondest memories is of Cindy coaching little league Cheer leading, the Little Eagles.

She was preceded in death by her mother; son, Trey; and son in law Juan Davila.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of forty years, Chip, children, Kandice Rose Acosta and husband Don Foster, Sharlana Fay Acosta Davila, Kenan Acosta and wife Crystal Fritz, Cody Kifer and wife Laci; niece Ashley and nephew Scotty; grandchildren, Kaleb, Kayla, Layla, Tristen, Aubrey, Tate, Jacob, and Daniel.
