In Memoriam of Christopher Howard Milnes
Christopher Howard Milnes passed away, in the hospital, Saturday, December 7, 2013. A Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Woodway First United Methodist Church.
Chris was born October 28, 1948 in Scarborough, Yorkshire England to Howard and Connie Milnes. He earned a degree in Metallurgy from Sheffield University and was employed at Frazier and Frazier in Coolidge. Chris married Rosamond May Wight on December 28, 1972 and was a devoted husband to Ros and a loving father to their daughter, Rebecca.
He was a member of Woodway First United Methodist Church where he served as an usher. He loved helping out in the community and enjoyed reading, traveling and stamp collecting.
Chris is survived by his wife, Ros Milnes; daughter, Rebecca Godkin and husband, Blake Godkin, the son he didn't have.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Woodway First United Methodist Church, 21000 Woodway Drive, Woodway, TX 76712
