Charles Schraeder, 78, of Robinson, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014, at his residence. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, October 16, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Morgan Woodard from First Baptist Church of Golinda officiating . Masonic graveside rites under the Auspices of Baylor Masonic Lodge will follow at Harris Creek Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home .
Charles Schraeder was born in Coryell City to Ed and Lillie (Sless) Schraeder. He was a graduate of Oglesby ISD. He married Anabell Renfro Schraeder on November 30, 1956. He served in the National Guard. Charles worked 53 years in the swimming pool industry and was the previous owner of Lake Air Pool Supply from 1981-2006 .
Charles was an avid deer hunter. He was a member of the Golinda Baptist Church, 32nd Degree Mason - Member Baylor Lodge, The Kareem Shrine Horse Patrol and past Officer, Central Texas Horse Show Association since 1963 and a past President, life-time member of the Robinson Saddle Club and a past President and Served on the HOT Rodeo Committee for a number of years. He also served as a HOT Mutton Busting Volunteer for 17 Yrs.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Lillie Schraeder.
Charles is survived by his wife, Anabell Renfro Schraeder, his daughter, Charlotte Jordan and her husband, David Jordan, grandchildren; Cody Jordan and Katlyn Black, Ryan Jordan and wife Katie Jordan, Great-grandchildren; Emmy McGlothlin, Caden Jordan, Cameron Jordan, Kassidi Black and Emery Black, brother; Billy Carl Schraeder and wife Sue, sisters; Alice Witt and Harold Barrington, Jean Kerley and husband Everett, Ruth Penton and husband Gene, Bobbie Vincent and husband David.
Pallbearers will be Cody Johnson, Scott Herring, Kyle Isbell, Justin Isbell, Bradley Isbell, Ryan Nix and Shawn Brodine. Honorary pallbearers will be Kareem Shrine Horse Patrol.
The family would like to thank the Bluebonnet Home Health Care and the Hospice Team for all their assistance and care.
