Charles Norwood

Charles Leon Norwood of McGregor passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014. A memorial service will be held Monday December 8, 2014 at 4 pm at Grace Gardens. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.

On June 6, 1939 Charles was born in Moody, TX to Opal and Hubert Norwood. Charles attended McGregor High School and then moved on to serve our country in the U.S. Navy for 2 years. In the past 20 plus years Charles has been the owner of Norwood International, which is currently ran by his son, Randy Norwood. On November 28, 1958 Charles married his wife, Jeffrie Nan Terry, of Ogelsby. In their 56 years of marriage they had three children, Ricky, Tommie Nan, and Randy Norwood.

Charles was proceeded in death by his mother, Opal Norwood; Father, Hubert Norwood; and son Ricky Norwood.

His survivors included his wife, Jeffrie Norwood; his brother; Tommy Norwood and wife Roberta Norwood, children; Tommie Nan Bruderer her husband Lee Bruderer, his son; Randy Norwood and wife Mendi Norwood his grandchildren; Justin Norwood and wife Denise Norwood, Skylar Norwood and fiancé T.J. Fox, Mady Norwood, Blake and Kendal Bruderer, his great-grandchildren; Tatum Fox, Gage, Aiden, and Ricky Carter Norwood.
