Charles Robert Fredericks

Charles "Chuck" Fredericks passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 after a long battle with complications arising from being exposed to Agent Orange during his time in the Vietnam War. A time of visitation with the family will be Monday, December 5, 2022 from 1 - 2PM with services following at 2PM at Grace Gardens Funeral Home in Waco, TX. Burial will take place the following day Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 1PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX. Chuck was born December 10th, 1946 in Syracuse, New York to father Neil Henry Fredericks and mother Irene Selina Maud Fredericks. He had a special love for music and often times wrote and sang his own songs, recording quite a few. He was a proud member of the United States Navy and served from 1965 - 1968. Upon returning home for many years Charles worked security for Pilgrim's Pride Corporation, Pepsi-Cola and Syracuse University. He met the love of his life Viola Lorene Sellers and the two married on November 2, 2001 in Raleigh, North Carolina and later moved to Hewitt, TX. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Neil and Irene. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Viola; 2 weenie dogs, Sunshine and Summer; brother Norman and sister in law Alice.
