Cathryn Bolfing-Gilliam

Cathryn Bolfing-Gilliam, 58, of Waco passed away Oct. 23 at Hillcrest Hospital with her family by her side.

Cathy graduated from McGregor High School and resided in Waco. She was a long time employee of Acosta Sales and Marketing and was a member of the Creative Home Arts Club. Her grandchildren were the most important part of her life, and they will miss their Nina dearly.

Cathy was preceded in death by her mother Betty June Darnell.

She is survived by her two daughters Amanda Burke and husband Tim, and Kathalene Bolfing; grandchildren Erika and Tyson; father Jim Darnell; brothers Billy Dixon and wife Jackie, Jimmy Dixon and wife Jenny, and Perry Darnell; sister Peggy Jezek; and numerous nieces and nephews.
