Carol Peeler

October 19, 1962 — June 17, 2012

Carol Sue Nino Peeler of Waco TX passed away peacefully on Sunday June 17, 2012 at the age of 49 to cancer. Services will be held Saturday June 23rd at 4:00 P.M. at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel 8220 Woodway Dr. Waco, TX. Pastor Lee Farmer officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday June 22nd from 6-8 P.M.

Carol was born on October 19, 1962 in Waco Texas to Leonard Nino Sr. and Ruby Estelle Combs Nino. Carol was baptized into the Christian faith at Harvest Time Revival Center. She was married for 23 years to her beloved sweetheart James Glen Peeler. Carol was an amazing mother to her only step child that she claimed as her own Rachel Peeler. A daughter she loved dearly who she helped in raising at a very young age. Carol adored and loved her wonderful soon to be son-in-law David Rucker. Carol was truly blessed and loved being with her 3 beautiful precious grandbabies, Caleb, Landon, and Raylen that she loved with all her heart and meant the world to her. Carol attended Waco High School, where she was a member of the Drill Team. Carol worked at I’m Yours Inc. for the past 22 years. Carol loved shopping, fishing, watching her TV shows Dancing with the Stars, American Idol and her Facebook family, friends and Farmville games. Carol enjoyed life, spending time with her family and friends. She was always cheerful, had many good friends, and was an inspiration and a source of great strength to her family. Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend with a heart of gold who wasn’t afraid to share her love and had a passion for serving God and helping others. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and 7 sisters. Carol was survived by her husband, James Glen Peeler of Waco. One daughter Rachel Peeler and fiancé David Rucker of Lorena. Three grandchildren Caleb Tolbert, Landon Rucker and Raylen Rucker of Lorena. One brother Leonard Nino Jr. and wife, Rosie of Lorena. Eleven sisters Ruby Simpson and husband Dan, Gloria Howard and husband Chuck, Kathy Stocton, Rebecca Sanchez and husband Phillip, Ester Contreras, Lidia Nino, Dolores Duron, and Mika Villarrial all of Waco, Jeanette Gaiton and husband, Ernest of Houston and Luita Nobles and husband Ronald Sr. of San Angelo, One brother in law David Peeler of Waco and her beloved mother-in-law Juanita Peeler and father-in-law James Peeler Sr. of Waco. Carol is also survived by many nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great nephews and cousins. Carol will be dearly missed by all of her family and many friends Rest in Peace We love you Carol
The family would like to thank the Providence Hospital Staff and the team at Bluebonnet Hospice for the kindness shown to her and the family through this difficult time.
