Carl Edward Wheeler

Carl Edward Wheeler beloved father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend, passed away in Hewitt, TX, USA on January 25th, 2020 at the age of 68. Carl was born in Magnolia, AR, USA on March 6th, 1951. He was later raised in Detroit, MI and joined the Air Force from 1973 serving our country until 1993. Following the Air Force, he also served in AAFES (Army Air Force exchange services) from 1993 to 2013 when he retired. He was preceded in death by his mom Verdell Wheeler and father, Willie Wheeler. He is survived by son, Carl Peay of Blacklick, OH; Daughter, Leah Pohlman and family, in Omaha, NE; and son, Anthony Wheeler, in Hewitt, TX. He also survived by sisters, Sandra Wheeler in Detroit,MI; Gwen Wheeler in Columbus, OH, and Jackie Wheeler in Alabama. He touches many lives and left behind great memories for us to hold onto. A celebration of life will be had which is pending to be scheduled.
