Carl John Gustafson

Carl John Gustafson, 75, of Waco, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 29, 2022.  A Funeral Service will be 10 am, Saturday, June 4th at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Waco. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park with Navy Honors. A visitation will be 5-7 pm, Friday, June 3 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Carl was born in Waco, Texas on November 25, 1946 to Wilma Smith and Carl E. Gustafson. He attended University High School.  In 1964 he joined the US Navy and served during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of both the Disabled Veterans Association and the Paralyzed Veterans of America.

Carl was a long time member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Waco.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Ray Gustafson.

Left to cherish his memories are her beloved wife of 38 years, Donna; brother Benny Gustafson and wife Leona; two brothers in law; two sisters in law; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
