Byron Andres Hernandez, a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson, and friend, passed away on August 14, 2024 after bravely battling cancer for three years. He was born on August 11, 2010, in Austin, Texas, to Patricia Vences and Jorge Hernandez.
Byron attended Connally Junior High. Byron would often joke that his favorite subject was lunch, showcasing his playful personality. Byron loved his family. He shared an unbreakable bond with his sister Helena, they were two peas in a pod.
Byron approached life with bravery, even in the face of challenges. His love for Lego Animations was evident, he enjoyed making intricate creations with his focus being superhero themed. Byron had a special talent for bringing characters to life through his animations, a skill that truly highlighted his creativity.
In his journey, Byron was supported by a loving family. He is survived by his sister, Helena, and brothers, Julian and Jorge, who shared a unique bond with him. His mother, Patricia Vences, and father, Jorge Hernandez, provided unwavering care and support, guiding Byron through his illness with strength and compassion.
His grandmother Julia Hernandez-Ramos preceded him in passing, he held a special place in her heart.
Byron's legacy of kindness, creativity, and resilience will forever be remembered. His passion for Lego Animations and creative mind will continue to inspire others to find joy in the simple things.
The family would like to thank the doctors, an army of nurses who saw him through his journey with compassion, and his favorite nurse of all his aunt, Beatriz.
