Brian Dugas Sr

Mr. Brian “BK” Dugas Sr., 58, of Waco Texas passed away peacefully on Thursday May 25, 2017 in the comfort of his home. He was born to Wanda and Lloyd Dugas on May 9, 1959. He attended Waco public schools and was a graduate of Richfield High School. He also attended McLennan Community College and Texas State Technical College. Brian attended church at Toliver Chapel MBC. He met and began life with his wife Cynthia Dugas of Hillsboro Texas in June of 1998. They united in matrimony February 22, 2007.

Brian worked for several years as a welder, but he had a passion for driving. He worked for many years doing just that. He enjoyed it so much that he founded his pick-up and delivery company known as N.E.D.S. Brian also worked for PTI as a driver for many years transporting train conductors.

Brian was many things to many people. He held several titles such as a devoted son, father, brother, friend and “pawpaw”. He never met a stranger. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. He greeted everyone (and we mean everyone) with a “hard” fist pound. He is known for some of his favorite quotes. If you have ever held a conversation with him you have heard him say “Go Hard”, “Already” and “Tight”. If you have ever walked into his house he has told you to “Drop Out”. He never addressed his daughters or grand-daughters by name, but always “babygirl”. BK was a huge sports fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys. He had a love for guitars. He was a die- hard fan of guitarists Prince and Jimi Hendrix.

Brian was proceeded in death by his grandson Bri’odrick.

His beautiful life will be cherished and remembered through his parents: Wanda and Lloyd; wife, Cynthia Dugas; children, Bachel, Brian Jr. (Kendra)., Bronsha, Brandon, Natacha, Gary and Pebbles; twelve grandchildren; siblings Julia, Kenneth (Gwen) and Roderick, mother in law Addie Mayberry; brothers-in-law Joe and Shawn; sisters-in-law, Chris, Pam, Tina; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
