Brenda Schoonover

Brenda Schoonover passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, in Waco, Tx.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents James & Mabel Tobin, and her twin brothers Mark and Michael Tobin. She is survived by her husband of 32 years Harold, son Roger Aliff, stepson Justin Schoonover, 5 grandchildren Seth, Henslee, Gavin, Avanell, and Dahlia, 1 great grandchild Maiana, sisters Rena and husband Ellis, Jeannie, brothers Jimmy, Andy and wife Deborah, and several nieces and nephews.

Brenda enjoyed reading everything from Harry Potter to romance novels, she was the fudge maker at Christmas time, the passenger on the back of Harold’s Harley until she decided to get her own license and purchased a flashy yellow trike, and the best Nanny in the world. Brenda worked for Tandy Corporation for many years until she decided to go back to school to become a Respiratory Therapist and worked for John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth until her retirement.

Brenda was raised in the Diamond Hill area and lived in Fort Worth until her health began to fail, at which point she was moved to Waco with her husband. She leaves behind family and friends that will miss her terribly.
