Bonnie Gunn

Bonnie Sue Gunn, age 68, of Waco passed away peacefully Sunday, October 23, 2011 at her home. Graveside Services will be 11am Friday at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery with Father John T. Wells officiating.

Bonnie was born July 21, 1943 in Waco, Texas to James and Leoma Gunn. She graduated from Waco High School in 1961 and had recently attended her 50th High School Reunion. She loved ocean cruises and swimming with the Dolphins. She especially loved her four dogs.

Bonnie worked for the City of Waco and retired from the State of Texas, Child Protective Services in 2005, after 30 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Eva Gunn Miller and numerous aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her cousins Frances House Carter, Carolyn Gunn, Steve Gunn of Emmaus, PA, and Marsha Gunn Luvin of Georgetown, TX; caring friends Jim and Carol Lowe and Tim and Vicki Watson.

Memorials may be made to the Waco Humane Society or Fuzzy Friends Rescue or the American Cancer Society.
