Bobby Gene Webb, 87, of Lorena, TX passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 in Waco surrounded by his family. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.

Bobby was born January 21, 1929 in Abbott, TX to I.M. (Butch) and Alice Mae Webb. He was the sixth of eleven children. On June 18, 1955 he married Joyce Trice and together they had a son, Rick, and two daughters, Debbie and Denise.

Bobby worked for General Tire and Rubber for 30 years before retiring to run his ‘No Hope Ranch’ from his Lorena home. Mr. Webb served his community throughout his life as a deacon at FBC Lorena and as a member of the Lorena ISD school board. In 1995 he received the Community Builder Award from the Lorena Masonic Lodge.

Throughout his life, his pride and joy were his children and grandchildren.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Butch and Alice, his sisters, Ruby Cox, Fae Hurtt, Marie Miller, Francis Craig, Virginia Anderson, Betty Winton, and his brother, Hulon Webb.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joyce; his children, Rick Webb and wife Annette of College Station, Debbie Voiles and husband Steve of Lorena, and Denise McCoy and husband Marc of Corpus Christi; his seven grandchildren: Stephanie Williams and husband Thomas of Houston, Josh Voiles of Waco, Megan Mobley and husband Ben of McKinney, Aimee Voiles of Lorena, Kyle McCoy of Dallas, 1stLt Daniel McCoy and wife Lainy of Twenty-Nine Palms, CA, and Ryan McCoy and wife Lauren of Waco; his great-granddaughter Maddison Mobley of McKinney; his sisters Billie Malone of Waco, Shirley Bailey and husband Wayne of Lubbock; his brother John Abe Webb and wife Ann of Allen, TX; brother-in-law Marvin and Sue Trice of Houston, brother-in-law Harold Craig of Lubbock, and brother-in-law Jim Winton of Waco. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

His grandsons will serve as his pall bearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Providence Hospice, American Heart Association, or First Baptist Church Lorena.
