Bobby Thigpen

Bobby Gene Thigpen, 52, of Hewitt, passed away January 27, 2019. A Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Friday, February 1, 2019, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. An interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco. A visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Bobby was born on March 30th 1966 to Bobby and Mary Thigpen. He married Kelly Thigpen on December 25th 1989. Bobby took pride in working as a car salesman for 13 years. If you knew Bobby, he was an avid fisher and hunter. He also enjoyed an occasional Jack & Coke and a good medium rare rib-eye steak.

Bobby Gene Thigpen, 52, of Hewitt departed his life on Sunday, January 27th after following a brief illness with close family and friends by his side. He was proceeded in death by loving wife, Kelly Thigpen, and father, Bobby Thigpen I.

He leaves to cherish him: mother, Mary Ruff and husband, Bill Ruff; two sons, Bobby Thigpen III, and Brandon Thigpen and wife, Jessica Thigpen; grandchildren Bobby Thigpen IV, and Logan Thigpen; sister, Lisa Smith; brother, Chris Thigpen; one niece; three nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
