"Bobbie" James

Leona Helen "Bobbie" James, 83, of Waco, died in a tragic accident Monday, June 2, 2014 the day before she was to travel to Las Vegas for fun with her daughter. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday the 7th of June at the Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation with Bobbie's family will follow the service.

Bobbie was born March 12, 1931 in Falls County to Arthur Alvin Schedule and Mary Dach Schedule. She married R L James the 7th of December 1947. R L died after 63 years of marriage on October 25, 2010. Bobbie owned and operated the Bellmead Day Care Center in the 1960's through the 70's. She then owned and operated the Hewitt Day Care Center throughout the 80's. Later, she was the owner and operator of the Lake Ridge Mobile Home Park for many years. She will always be remembered as a workaholic.

She was an avid gardener and loved tending to her flowers. Bobbie was also a very talented dancer who always enjoyed dancing with her husband at the Sul Ross Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Adolph Schedule and Dan Schedule; and her sisters, Thelma Bond, Lillie Mae Schedule and Alice Schedule.

Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Adelia Williams of Waco; sisters, Willie Mae Fulton, Florence Evans, Rose Lee Lollar, LaVerne Withers, Frances Raye McIntosh and Faye Brantly; her brother, Robert Schedule; many nieces and nephews; and her four-legged grandchildren, with Jesse being her favorite.

In lieu of floral arrangements, memorials are to be directed to any of the following charities, Sul Ross Senior Center, 1414 Jefferson, Waco 76701, Providence Hospice, 6700 Sanger Avenue, Waco 76710 or to the charity of your choice.
