Beth (Moore) Grimland went to meet her Savior on March 23, 2023, in Waco, Texas at the age of 83. Beth was preceded in death by her mother Lena (Leck) Moore, and her siblings, Helen, Lena, Norene, Edna Mae, Gladine, and A.C. Beth was born in Elm Mott, Texas, the youngest of 8 children. Her older siblings helped raise her to become strong and independent.
Beth attended and graduated from Waco High School in 1957. As a young lady, Beth enjoyed volleyball and listening to Elvis. She met and married Bill Moehlig and had two sons, Scott and Todd. On May 6, 1978, Beth married Dennis Grimland, the love of her life. Together they had one son, Michael. Beth worked in customer service for Huck Manufacturing for 26 years where she was well liked by her peers and co-workers. Beth was the life of the party. She enjoyed cooking, Country & Western dancing, watching her sons’, grandsons’, granddaughters’, and great granddaughters’ sporting events. She loved playing 42, Moon, Chicken Foot, and spending time with her family. She loved rainy days and cinnamon rolls. Her sense of humor, contagious laughter, and her caring love will be greatly missed.
Beth was a strong Christian and prayed every night for her family, friends, and neighbors.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dennis, three sons and their spouses, Scott (Gina) Moehlig, Todd (Michelle) Moehlig, Michael (Theresa) Grimland and one sister Mary Etta Johnson of North Carolina.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Lindsey, Dustin, Kellie, Madison, Kaleb, Bryce, Mallory, and Emerson as well as four great grandchildren, Maisyn, McKenna, Hadley, and Avery.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 4-6pm at Grace Gardens Funeral Home in Woodway, Texas at 8220 Woodway Drive. The Funeral will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 at 10:30am at Grace Gardens Funeral Home followed by graveside service at Robinson Cemetery at 620 East Stegall Rd, Robinson, Texas.
Pall Bearers will be Dustin Moehlig, Mike Gibson, Lance Ochoa, Bryce Burks, Kaleb Burks, Keith Parnell, Lavelle Spencer, Joe Frank Wachsmann. Officiating pastor will be Beth’s nephew, John Wachsmann.
The family has requested that any donations be sent directly to the Salvation Army of Waco, Texas.
