Bernice Haddock

Bernice Mildred (Hamilton) Haddock 89, of Waco, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016. A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Waco Memorial Park's Mausoleum with Pastor Robert Nelson officiating. A visitation with the family will be from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, June 14th 2016 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Bernice Haddock was born to D.M. and Thelma Hamilton on August 06, 1926 in New Salem, TX. She is one of 3 children. She married Raymond Haddock on ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ Dec. 30 , 1946 and they lived a full and happy life together until death did them part in 1998 with the passing of her husband . She had 4 children, 7 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, whom she loved with all her heart. She had such a servant's heart and loved the company of others. She enjoyed cooking and made sure you never left her house hungry. She was one of the funniest, strongest women who taught us so much. Even in her final days she was making us all laugh. Her love was selfless and she will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband , her two sons; Ron Haddock, Darrell Haddock and her sister, Beatrice Whiddon.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharyn Seay, her son, Michael Haddock, her sister, Betty Trent and husband, John, grandchildren; Dawn Lehrmann and husband, Craig, Shawn Seay, Stephen Haddock, Jennifer Haddock, Candyce Haddock, Nicole Haddock and Regan Haddock, great grandchildren; Kristen Rau, Courtney Lehrmann, Matthew Lehrmann, John Haddock, Joshua Haddock, Hailey Haddock, Jacob Haddock , Billy Haddock, Jonathan Haddock, Hannah Haddock and, Shawn Casey and McKenzie Seay, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Dawn Lehrmann, who was a so selfless and helpful during the last few months of her life. They would also like to thank the staff at Bluebonnet Hospice for their loving care.
