September 6, 1976 — April 9, 2022

Waco, Texas

Benjamin Brannan Miller of Waco, TX passed away Saturday April 9th, 2022 at the age of 45. A visitation will be 5 to 7 P.M. Friday April 22nd in the chapel of Grace Gardens Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held the following day Saturday April 23rd, at 1 P.M. at Rosemound Cemetery 3201 S. 12th street Waco, Texas 76706.

Brannan was born in Waco, TX on Labor Day, September the 6th , 1976.

He was a curious, creative, and happy child; putting together puzzles and Legos and making art along side his father. First Baptist Waco was his Kindergarten school, he then attended and graduated the 5th grade at St. Albans Memorial School, then attended Waco High where he was the star catcher for the baseball team and a member of the Honor Society before graduating in 1995.

After high school he went to TSTC and graduated with honors in Bio-Med. He went to work at Technologies for Education (He excelled in anything having to do with computer technology) and worked in construction building fences and brick mailboxes.

Brannan suffered for many years with dissociative disorder and bipolar disorder but worked hard to over come his struggles.

When he was 9 years old, he accepted Christ as his personal savior during FBC summer camp where Al Ringle was his camp leader. He was baptized shortly after by Dr. John Wood at the First Baptist Church.

“Brannan our beloved son will be greatly missed everyday… We are comforted knowing he is with our Lord Jesus Christ, and we will be with him someday.” – Stanley & Paula Miller

Brannan was always eager to share whatever he had with others. He would get food from Caritas and Shepard’s Table and take it to the needy people of Waco and surrounding areas. He gave his toys, clothes and tools to his work crew and never expected anything in return.

Brannan loved being around his kin and friends. He had a beautiful, ready smile and a hearty laugh and will be missed by so many people that he had the pleasure of knowing.

Brannan is survived by his parents, Otis Stanley and Paula Miller, sister Sarah Elizabeth Miller of Washington D.C. and by his loving aunts uncles and cousins.
