Belinda Teer-Dowd

Belinda Teer-Dowd, 45, of Hewitt, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018. Services will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 4th, 2018 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with an interment following at McGregor Cemetery. A visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 pm Saturday, March 3rd at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Belinda loved being outdoors and camping. She enjoyed volunteering at the Heart of Texas Rodeo in the Kids Zone. Being with family and friends was her favorite place, and her grandbaby was such a delight. Belinda earned her BSN from Texas Tech University and most recently worked for Providence Home Health. She has also worked at Scott and White in Temple and Hillcrest Hospital.

Belinda, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, nurse, and so much more is gone from us much too soon. We are all better for having known her. Each of us will cherish and carry the happy memories with us the rest of our days.

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert; father in law, Bill Dowd; and brother, Don Fernandez.

Belinda leaves behind husband, Wesley Dowd; mother, Bessie French; grandmother, Armittie French; daughter, Lauren Teer; son, Bailey Teer; granddaughter, Vivienne Allen; sisters, Rita Harwell, Sonja Villarreal, Sharon Ryant and husband Richard; mother in law, Olga Dowd and husband Jerry Buck, T.J. and Shelia Zawacki, numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews extended family, our Rodeo family and too many great friends to mention.
