Barbara Gunter

Barbara Ann Gunter, 72, of Waco, was called home to her Lord and Savior, Sunday, April 27, 2014. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 1, at Wortham Bend Cemetery in China Spring.

Barbara was born December 19, 1941 to Laymon and Maurine Miller in Gorman, TX. The family moved to Stephenville, where Barbara attended high school and college. While at Tarleton State, she met the love of her life, Kenneth Gunter. They married and had three sons. Barbara was a faithful servant of the Lord and read the Bible daily. She loved to care for her flowers and plants and was fond of her cat, Lion King.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Gunter; and her parents.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Kurtis Gunter, Kenneth Gunter, Jr. and his wife, Nadine, and Kevin Gunter; grandchildren, Kenneth Gunter III "Tre" and Chesney Gunter; sister-in-law, Rosemary Gunter; and brother-in-law, Terry Gunter.
