Barbara Bayer

Barbara Lynn (Jenkins) Bayer passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025, in Round Rock, TX.  A memorial graveside service will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 11:30am, at Stanford Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Scott Talley officiating the service. 

Barbara was born August 8, 1939, in Odessa, TX to Claudia and Phil Jenkins. Barbara was an only child and grew up attending Odessa schools. Barbara enjoyed playing bridge with friends, quilting and arts and crafts. Barbara and her husband Don were active members around the Waco, TX area. For many years they participated and volunteered in the Heart of Texas Livestock Show and Rodeo and McLennan County Junior Livestock Show. 

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Donald J. Bayer; her parents Phil and Claudia Jenkins; Step-son, Monty Joe Bayer and Step-daughter, Lea Bayer.

 Barbara is survived by her daughter Tia May; step-daughter Sonda Monday and 5 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, Barbara and her family support the Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo and would appreciate your donation to their scholarship fund HOT Livestock Show and Rodeo
