Artie Huff

Artie Creola Huff , 97, passed away Tuesday October 25, 2011 at a local hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at 3PM Wednesday November 2, 2011 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home in Waco, Texas.

Creola was born on April 12, 1914 in Mosheim, Texas to Horace and Winnie Rae Riddle. She had one brother, Edwin Riddle of Oglesby, Texas who preceded her in death.

She married Sammie Ferguson Huff in 1934, and he preceded her in death October 22, 1960. She resided in Killeen most of her adult life, where she was self-employed and a member of the First Baptist Church of Killeen.

Creola is survived by a daughter, Sammie Huff Bankhead and her husband Gary of Spring, Texas; two grandsons Christopher Bankhead and wife Charity of Fort Worth; Brandon Bankhead and wife Lacey of Cleveland, Texas, and one great granddaughter, Lauryl.
