Ann Marie Sefcik

Ann Marie Sefcik peacefully passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, in Temple, Texas surrounded by family.

The Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, November 27, 2024, beginning at 10am at St. Jeromes Catholic Church in Waco, Texas. A time of visitation with family and friends will be the night prior to the service Tuesday, November 26 from 5 – 7pm at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. Reciting of the Rosary will take place at 6pm the night of the visitation. 

Ann was born December 11, 1942, in East Saint Louis, Illinois to Jesse Virgil and Cecilia Marie (Sikora) Sefcik. 

Ann obtained her bachelor’s in accounting and was CPA. Ann was employed at Texas Regional Bancshares for more than 20 years until her retirement. She was a member of McLennan County Master Gardner’s and Waco Newcomers and Neighbors and enjoyed spending time in her garden, playing cards (Canasta & Bridge) and especially spending time with her family. 

Ann was a member of St. Jeromes Catholic Church in Woodway, Texas and loved the Lord and spreading his word. 

Ann was preceded in death by her mother and father, Cecilia & Jesse Medley and brothers Jim Medley and John Medley. 

Left to cherish Anns memory are her brothers, Thomas Medley and Peter Medley; sister Cathy Weber and daughters, Sandra Henry, Catherine Sefcik and Susan Mellen. Also surviving Ann are the grandchildren she loved and cherished, Christian Henry, Shannon Henry, Cynthia Mellen, Emily Mellen and Mary Mellen.
