Anjanette Biddle - Piscacek

February 16, 1965 — January 6, 2016

Anjanette Biddle-Piscacek, 50, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 6, at a local hospital, with a smile on her face, and a sparkle in her eye, after a brief illness, she said good-bye to her family and many, many friends. A Visitation will be with the family from 6 to 8 p.m on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home at 8220 Woodway Drive. Funeral services will be conducted by Lisa Barnett of Fort Worth, on Saturday, Jan. 9 at Lakewood Christian Church, 6509 Bosque Blvd., at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Frieden’s Cemetery in Riesel. A reception will be held after the burial at Lakewood Christian Church at 1 p.m.

Anjanette was born February 16, 1965 to Ethel and Hollis Biddle in Waco. Anjanette was an avid sports fan of the Midway Panthers. She ran track (hurdles) and played basketball for the Pantherettes in high school. She was academic all-state in basketball her senior season. She is a graduate of Baylor University and a die-hard cheerleader for the Baylor Bears in all sports. On the exciting side of her life, she never heard a song by Bon Jovi, Cher or Whitney Houston that she didn’t like. Christmas holidays were her most joyous times. With santa hat in place she drew the spot light at many parties. With Charlie, her life’s highlights included a vacation in Bora Bora and an invitation by the parents of Baylor’s Robert Griffen III to join the Heisman after-party in New York. As a church elder the past few years, she reached her goals of making Lakewood Christian Church a sparkling venue, bringing happiness to residents on Meals & Wheels, and adding a note of sincere care for the injured or ill members of Lakewood. Perhaps her No. 1 favorite song in her extensive CD collection would be an Andre Bocelli masterpiece: It’s Time to Say Good-bye.

Anjanette is survived by her husband, Charlie; her parents, Hollis and Ethel Biddle; brother Robert and wife Shannon; niece Aeron Biddle; and nephew Kyle Biddle.

Pallbearers will be Ed Barton, Pat Barton, Fred Barton, Robert Biddle and Kyle Biddle,

Honorary pallbearers are Dave Campbell, Jim Haller, Tom Stanton, Don Riley, Ann Roznosky, Jean and Charlie Vestal, Floyce and James Miller and David Lacy.
