Andrew Tomchesson

Andrew ( Andy) Tomchesson, 53, of Waco, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016 at his home. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2016 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at Waco Memorial for family only.

Andrew Tomchesson, born January 22, 1963 in Amarillo, was the son of Mayor Teddy J. Tomchesson and Arlene Marie Baker Tomchesson. Andrew was a man who was devoted to family, friends, and animals. In 1982, he graduated from China Spring High School and in 1983 he graduated from Vogue Beauty School in Waco. He established himself early in his career at the Paul Nienast Hair Salon located in Dallas, TX with the nickname, "The King of Blonde." He was well respected by the stylist community in every venue he worked over the years. Andrew loved to travel and lived in New York City, NY, Boston, MA, St. Thomas , Virgin Islands and Panama before returning to Waco, TX in the late 1990's to be near his mother, Arlene, who was also his best friend. Andrew was a man of kindness and integrity to his community and will be greatly missed by his family and his large network of clients, his dearest friends. He always greeted family and friends with a hug, a smile, and "Sweetheart."

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his siblings; Lisa Tomczeszyn, Los Angeles, CA, Titus Tomchesson of Greensboro, NC, Liana Tomchesson and her husband, George Adams of Denver, CO, Anthony (Tony, his twin) Tomchesson and his wife, Robin of Valley Mills, TX; his nieces and nephews: Sarah Tomchesson, Cheyanna Tomchesson, Jessica Tomchesson, Emily Tomchesson, Miles Adams, Daniel Tomchesson, Titus Tomchesson and great niece, Ruby Lucine de le Rosa.
