Andrew was born on September 2nd, 1953 in Mielec, Poland. Andrew would go on to immigrate to the United States where he met the love of his life, Regina Kolemba. After earning his citizenship, Andrew and Regina were married. The loving couple would have two children, daughter Katherine Allen and son Andrew Kolemba. Above all else, Andrew was a deeply devoted loving husband, and he was immensely proud of his two children. Everything he did, all of his hard work, was for them. He was so proud to see his daughter become a Doctor and son become a NASA engineer. Andrew was fortunate to also see his children marry and expressed how blessed he was to know they married well.
Andrew was employed by General Motors for over 30 years as a Tool and Die Maker where he practiced his exceptional skill of fixing any and all machinery. He loved to work with his hands and had an unmatched talent for solving problems.
In his personal time, Andrew loved most to spend it with his family. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, wood and metal working, or simply playing with the family dogs. He had the ability to make anyone laugh and a sense of humor that lit up the room. His family and friends love him so much and will miss him more than they will ever be able to express. It will be very hard without him and his love, witty humor, silly sayings, and kindness.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Regina Kolemba, his daughter and son-in-law, Katherine Allen and Bo Allen, and his son and daughter-in-law, Andrew Kolemba and Kimberly Kolemba.
Pallbearers will be son Andrew Kolemba, son-in-law Bo Allen, son’s father-in-law Carl Hope, daughter’s father-in-law Bo E Allen, close friend Tadek Zamulinski, and best friend of son Joseph Warner.
Honorary pallbearers will be close friend of son Steve Ktaili.
