Andrew Bryngelson

December 12, 1988 — August 11, 2024

Andrew Bryngelson passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 11th in Waco, Texas.

In his 35 years, he affected the lives of many with his kindness and service. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin University where he found and helped grow a caring community at the Wesley Foundation.

He worked at the Waco Foundation SmartBabies Early Childhood Initiative, and people were amazed that this young, single guy had such a knowledge of car seats and when to start solid foods for infants. He served as the Youth Leader at Central Presbyterian Church and enriched the lives of young people with activities, devotionals, and fellowship. He worked at Caritas as a volunteer coordinator for many services supporting those dealing with poverty. Most recently, he worked as records technician at Mclennan Community College, and positively loved his job and colleagues.

Andrew enjoyed music, D&D, board & video games. He played guitar, and sang at church. He was a wonderful uncle to his niece, Willow, and a great friend to so many. He always made an effort to help people feel included and was quick to think about how he could make things better for others. He had a great sense of humor and used it to stay upbeat in even difficult situations.

In August 2022, after 2 years of dating, Andrew married Natalie Bryngelson, nee Yeaman. Everyone who saw them together could see the obvious love and affection for each other.

Andrew will be deeply missed by his wife, Natalie Bryngelson, and his immediate family; mother, June Bryngelson, father, Jay Bryngelson, sister, Ginger Bryngelson, brother-in-law, Jeremy Davis, and niece, Willow Bryngelson-Davis. In addition, he leaves behind his caring father-in-law, John (Jay) Yeaman, his mother-in-law, Karen Yeaman, and his sister-in-law, Ashley Yeaman.

Andrew’s death will leave a large hole in many hearts. His love for family and friends was indisputable, and will always be remembered.

Visitation with the family will take place Friday 5:30 - 7pm (drop in) at the Activity Center of Central Presbyterian Church at 101 Sharron Drive, Woodway, TX

A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday 10:30 am at the sanctuary of Central Presbyterian Church at 9191 Woodway Dr, Woodway, TX.
