Biography

Anabell Schraeder, 79, of Robinson, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017, at a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Morgan Woodard from First Baptist Church of Golinda officiating. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Anabell was born in McGregor at home to Hubert and Gladys (Walter) Renfro. She was a graduate of McGregor ISD. She married the love of her life, Charles Schraeder, on November 30, 1956. Anabell was a hair dresser for many years working out of the beauty shop Charles built for her at their longtime residence in Robinson. She worked for the Texas Highway department for 13 years. In 1981 she and Charles purchased Lake Air Pool Supply with partners Spencer and Delores Johnson. Anabell enjoyed many years of horse showing with Charles and daughter Charlotte where they met lifelong friends. She was also an avid deer hunter, animal lover, bowler, Lady Bear Basketball fan and collecting Coke memorabilia. She was a very compassionate lady and would go out of her way to help anyone.

Anabell was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Gladys Renfro, brother Ronnie Renfro and husband Charles Schraeder.

Anabell is survived by her daughter Charlotte Jordan and husband David Jordan of Robinson, grandsons, Ryan Jordan and wife Katie of Waco, Cody Jordan and wife Katlyn of Hewitt, great-grandchildren Caden, Cameron, Emmy, Kassidi and Emery, a brother Thomas Renfro and wife Charlette of McGregor and numerous extended family members, many special friends and her little dog Tuff.

A special thank you to Daryl Kelm and Dee Huytra for spending numerous hours with her and taking such good care of her after Charles passed. To Greenway Dialysis Center, The Brazos Rehab, Bluebonnet Home Healthcare and her church family thank you.
