Alva Day

Alva Day, 61, passed away at a local area hospital on July 3, 2010. Services will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. with Richard Rust officiating.
He was preceded in death by his father Edgar Day and grandmother Esther Austin Utz.
Al is survived by: Susan Day (wife and love of his life of 24 years); Jerry Day (son); Joel Day & April (son and wife); Stacy Williams & Jeff (daughter and spouse); Suzanne Cormier & Michael (daughter and spouse); Eric Krueger & Whitney (step son and wife); Brett Krueger & Tierny (step son and wife); Brad Krueger (stepson); Sixteen (16) grandchildren; Marcella Day (Mother); Judy Eubank (sister); Sherry Georgia (sister); Duke (dog)

As a loving family man, he was constantly involved with his children and grandchildren. He loved the natural world and appreciated it. He loved toothpicks, fishing, golf, Cacti, and his dog, Duke. He was dedicated to his job at Owens Illinois, where he worked for over 35 years. He will be deeply missed.
